Ljubljana sits in a basin with the Ljubljanica curling through the middle and a castle hill above it, which makes it one of the easiest capitals to read from a map. The Old Town wraps the foot of the castle hill on the right bank. Tivoli runs west from the centre straight into woodland at Rožnik. Metelkova and the museum quarter sit a few minutes north-east, and Šiška and Bežigrad spread out beyond them. This one is drawn from the site's own data rather than served from a tile provider. Every point is a surveyed coordinate geocoded against OpenStreetMap, plotted at true scale with the coastline, the river, the parks and the street grid underneath it, so the distances you read off it are real. The chips dim the groups you are not looking at instead of removing them, because a map that deletes the parks when you ask about museums is no longer telling you where anything is.
